The Society was founded in Tarporley in 1920 and was performing plays in the Victory Hall in the late 1940s.
When the Victory Hall was rebuilt in 1963 and renamed the Community Centre, plays continued
- at least one per year but most years we have staged one in Spring and one in late Autumn.
A complete list of productions dating back to the late 1940s and many posters, programmes
and photographs can be found on the TADS website.

We are still based at the Community Centre and have over 30 active members including actors, actresses
and the technical team. The Society is constantly searching for fresh acting talent and help of all kinds,
so please contact us from the links on our website if you wish to meet the group.
